Forsythe Refuge Staff Recruits at Local Colleges

Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge staff participated in two 2005 spring career fairs: Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, February 17; and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey Camden Campus, March 9. The staff provided information on U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service internship, volunteer, and career opportunities to more than 75 students and developed excellent contacts with professors at both schools. Topics of conversation often centered on how refuge staff can work with both institutions to better prepare students for future employment with the Service.

The Camden campus proved a particularly good location to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds.
