FAIRFIELD MAN SENTENCED TO TWO MONTHS OF IMPRISONMENT FOR VIOLATING SUPERVISED RELEASE Kevin J. O’Connor, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that DOUGLAS McCASKEY, age 52, of Fairfield, Connecticut, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in Bridgeport to two months of imprisonment for violating the terms and conditions of his federal supervised release. On April 30, 2001, Judge Underhill sentenced McCASKEY to five years of probation based upon his conviction to one count of securities fraud. On November 21, 2005, McCASKEY was arrested by the Fairfield Police Department on charges of risk of injury to a minor/impairing the morals of a minor, and unlawful restraint in the second degree. On February 1, 2007, McCASKEY was convicted of unlawful restraint in the second degree and was sentenced to one year of prison, execution suspended, and three years of probation. Today, Judge Underhill ordered McCASKEY to report to a facility to be designated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons on August 1, 2007. Judge Underhill also ordered McCASKEY to serve one additional year of supervised release following his period of incarceration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony E.
