RECREATION OPPORTUNITY GUIDES
These Recreation Opportunity Guides (ROGs) are the same as those available at our offices. They give highlights of the site, directions, fee information, and many of the trail ROGs have maps.

MOTOR VEHICLE USE MAPS (MVUM)

These Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs) display all National Forest System roads, trails and designated areas that allow public motor vehicle use.

CAROLINA'S GREAT OUTDOORS

This informational tabloid features full color maps and many interesting articles about the forests. You can learn about the forests' namesakes, find a recreational site, or plan a visit. This publication is available at all of our offices.

RECREATION DIRECTORY

This directory highlights recreational opportunities on the forests and features full color maps. It is available at all of our offices.

FOREST VISITOR MAPS
Color maps of each district are available to purchase. These maps are good for determining general location of roads, trails, and other recreational sites on the district.

If you would like to purchase these maps on line, they are available at the Cradle of Forestry in America Interpretive Association (CFAIA), web site. 

You may purchase maps at any of our offices or you may use our map order form and mail us your order.

USGS MAPS
Topographic maps are available in our Columbia office at a cost of $6.00 per map. Topographic maps ordered through the mail must include a mail and handling charge of $3.50 per order.

 

 

SPECIALTY MAPS
Specialty maps are available for the Andrew Pickens Ranger District located in the mountains. These maps are available at the Andrew Pickens Ranger District Office, at the headquarters office in Columbia, on line, or by mail.
