Each Functional Committee operates under a specific charter and is chaired by a senior industry representative.

Membership consists of corporate executives from within the Association, senior government liaison representation from the USTRANSCOM, its component commands, and other government participants as appropriate.

Each Committee meets twice a year to address topics of mutual interest that provide the Department of Defense (DOD) with a “window” into industry practices and processes and that provide industry with a “voice” in the government process. By working together, issues can be resolved early on. Industry works with government to offer solutions or alternatives to major logistics-related challenges in support of the DOD and other Government Departments or Agencies.

Administrative Committees assist the President and the Board of Directors in the management and oversight of the organization. Each Committee is chaired by an industry volunteer who devotes time to ensuring the success of the Association.

Committee membership includes other volunteers from industry or government with an interest in education and the professional development of our industry and government members.
