Nurse-Family Partnership

HHSC is establishing Nurse-Family Partnership programs in communities throughout the state. Through this program registered nurses make home visits to low-income, first-time parents during pregnancy and until the child turns 2 years old. The nurses focus on the mother's health and the child's development. Organizations interested in providing these services can apply for a competitive grant and attend technical assistance meetings.
