Please see our collection of historic national news releases issued between 1914-1999. The Service was established in 1940, so the collection includes news releases from the old Bureaus of Fisheries and Biological Survey, all the way back to the first news release in 1914. We also have copies of the annual News Releases About Hunting and Fishing Licenses since 1975. You can find national news releases issued since 1998 through the News Release Search Engine.
