of Water published this catalog to provide information to State/local water
resource professionals and watershed groups on Federal monies that might
be available to fund a variety of watershed protection projects.

intended to be a working tool to enable practitioners in the public and
private sector to find the appropriate methods to pay for environmental
protection efforts. The Guidebook does not explain how or where to apply
for assistance.

State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) - The CWSRF program funds projects for
publicly-owned wastewater treatment facilities. The program also funds
a variety of publicly- or privately-owned nonpoint source and estuary
management projects.

Drinking Water State
Revolving Fund (DWSRF) - The DWSRF program funds projects for publicly-
or privately-owned public water systems needed to protect public health
and ensure compliance with drinking water regulations. The program
also provides funds for a variety of activities that support source water
protection and enhanced water system management.

Tribes
- Funding Opportunity
Tribes and Intertribal Consortia EPA is soliciting applications
from federally recognized Indian tribes or intertribal consortia to co-sponsor
the Eighth National Tribal Conference on Environmental Management (NTCEM).
This large, national conference provides opportunities for tribal leaders,
tribal environmental managers, tribal organizations, federal agencies, and
other interested entities/persons to share information relevant to tribal environmental
protection programs and to discuss issues of vital interest to Indian country.
The goals for the eighth conference are to facilitate the development and effectiveness
of tribal environmental programs, strengthen networks and relationships across
environmental efforts in Indian country, identify and share lessons learned,
and familiarize tribes with the full range and extent of tribal and non-tribal
environmental protection activities.
