High pressure from the northern plains to the Tennessee Valley will gradually build eastward tonight through Monday night. However, a weak area of low pressure looks to quickly slide across the Delmarva Monday afternoon and evening. High pressure will then settle over our area Tuesday and Tuesday night, although an upper level disturbance will move through. A warm front will slide north across the area Wednesday night as high pressure moves to our east. A cold front is then forecast to move across our region Thursday night into early Friday. High pressure should then follow for Saturday into Sunday, with the next cold front arriving later Sunday. ...full AFD...

NJ State Climatologist at Rutgers University's Agricultural Experiment Station, CoCoRaHS
(Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow network) is a community-based precipitation observing
network that has rapidly expanded throughout a number of states.
