The National Park Service makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events, accomplishments, employee recognitions, special and re-occurring events within and around the parks in the system.

The National Park Service and Eastern National publish In The Park park newspaper which provides visit planning information and contains articles on various resource-related topics. Copies of In The Park are available at all park visitor centers.

Fort Raleigh provides news releases to local and regional newspapers; current and past news releases can also be found here on the park web site.
