Campground Reservations

The reservation phone number is 1-877-444-6777 and the reservation website address is http://www.recreation.gov

The Furnace Creek Campground is the only National Park Service (NPS) campground in Death Valley that takes advance reservations on the Internet or by telephone. Reservations can be made for the camping season of October 15 through April 15. Furnace Creek Campground reservations can be made six months in advance. Group campsite reservations can be made 11 months in advance. All other NPS campgrounds are first-come-first-served.

Furnace Creek Campground
Open All Year. Located 196 feet below sea level, Furnace Creek has 136 sites with water, tables, fireplaces, flush toilets, and dump station. Furnace Creek is $18 per night during the winter season and $12 a night during the summer. Reservations for sites in Furnace Creek Campground are only taken for the winter season. The campground is first come first served in the summer.

Group Campsites
There are two group campsites at Furnace Creek Campground. Each site has a maximum capacity of 40 people and 10 vehicles. No RVs can be parked at the group sites.
