Fire H.E.L.P.

Residential Fire H.E.L.P. (Homebound Elderly Lifeline Project) is an innovative training project conducted by the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), to promote residential safety and reduce fire-related injuries and loss of life and property among the homebound elderly.

This special project was made possible through the award of a competitive training grant from the Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate/Federal Emergency Management Agency (EP&R/FEMA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
