On March 12, 2003, the Federal Communications Commission released an
Order Amending Part 1 of the Commission's Rules to Implement Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973,
re: Non-Discrimination on the Basis of Disability in the Commission's Programs and Activities.
The Federal Communications Commission Section 504 Programs & Activities
Accessibility Handbook (Section 504 Handbook) is a collection of guidelines,
information, and procedures to ensure that the Commission is accessible to
individuals with disabilities. The content of the handbook is designed to assist
Commission personnel in their efforts to provide such accessibility.
