Fulbright Study Grant
American citizens apply for grants to undertake graduate study or research in Morocco, either through auditing courses at a Moroccan university or by carrying out independent research or field work. American student grantees tend to be focused on doing research for graduate degrees; however, applications from outstanding "graduating seniors" with well-formulated statements of purpose are also welcome. Applications are considered from well-qualified students in all fields related to Morocco.
Applications are also invited from at-large candidates who are not enrolled in a university, but who have a convincing project proposal related to Morocco. The grant duration is from 6 to 9 months. Students who are awarded a Fulbright Study grant may also qualify for the Critical Language Enhancement Award (CLEA)
The deadline for submission of applications to the Institute of International Education (IIE) is late October for grants beginning the following academic year. Enrolled students may obtain further information and application forms from the Fulbright Program Advisor on their campuses.
