Professional Highlights |
• Served as the convener for the Marketing Team for 1.5 years with a charge to provide coordination of Resource Center´s Strategic Marketing and Outreach planning efforts.
• Provides on-call technical assistance to States, FHWA Division Office, and other Federal and local agencies in developing Marketing strategies, conferences, publications (including layout and design), training, and other outreach efforts.
• Co-Chair, 9-years, FHWA Eastern Winter Road Maintenance Symposium and Equipment Expo (D.C.,MD,PA,NY,VA,MA,WV,NH,TN) attracting roughly 1,800 attendees from 38+ States each year and 150 exhibitors nationwide.
• Chaired, 4-years, FHWA Biennial Western Winter Road Maintenance Symposium held in conjunction with APWA Western Snow and Ice Conf and Snow Rodeo
• Coordinated the first-ever, multi-modal National Symposium on Public Outreach and Communication entitled "Getting Our Message Out: Elevating Public Awareness of Transportation Issues."
• Skilled in oral and written communications, developing marketing plans, creating customized marketing materials and promotional items
• Represents FHWA at trade shows and exhibitions
• Provides marketing training to engineers, planners, etc.
• Coordinates National and region-wide outreach initiatives and provides support to Headquarters and Division Offices (from eastern States in particular) whenever marketing opportunities are present.
