VALLEY VIEW GROUP CAMPSITES PA

Eligibility
By advance permit. Minimum of 5 campers.
Season
The area is open from March to December, dependent on weather and river conditions.
Restrictions
Alcohol is not permitted at this site.
Fees
$30.00 flat rate per night per site; Application process
Facilities
5 open sites, each with fire ring, picnic table and trash container. There is a well and water pump at the campground and the water is drinkable. Vault toilets are centrally located. There is a common area for ceremonies and gatherings. There are no covered pavilions or shelters.

Sloping dirt ramp to river. Open space maintained between sites.
Accessibility
Valley View Site 1 was designed as an accessible site. Vans can pull up adjacent to the site. Restrooms are 50 feet away. There is ground surface can be negotiated with a wheelchair.
Health and Safety
Watch for poison ivy and ticks. Do not climb on fences.

Directions
The campsite entrance is on Route 209 PA, between Bushkill PA and Dingmans Ferry PA. Valley View is about 2 miles upstream of the beginning of Walpack Bend.
Directions
Northbound from Bushkill PA:
take Route 209 through the blinking light at Bushkill Falls Road in Bushkill PA. Continue 2.5 miles and turn east (right) onto the dirt road to the campsites.
Southbound from Dingmans Ferry PA: take Route 209 through the traffic light at the intersection of Route 739 and 209 in Dingmans Ferry PA. Continue 9 miles and turn east (left) onto the dirt road to the campsites.

Did You Know?
... that the Middle Delaware River exceeds ordinary federal standards for clean water. Because of this, special higher standards have been set for the river, so it does not "deteriorate" to being just "clean enough." The river in this park is, and will remain, truly "cleaner than clean."
