Center for Independent Living (CIL) - Fresno

Works with individuals with disabilities to promote their independence in the community. Provides peer counseling, information and referral, independent living skills training, individual advocacy for a particular individual and systems advocacy for the community. The service area includes the five counties of Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera and Merced.

Community Catalysts of California - Housing Initiative

A nonprofit organizationthat serves over 1,000 individuals with developmental and other disabilities. Site contains information on the organization's efforts to create new housing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Fisher House II Makes Room for More Families

Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD)

VVSD, also known as Vietnam Veterans of San Diego, is dedicated to extending assistance to needy and homeless Veterans of all wars and eras and their families by providing housing, food, clothing, substance abuse recovery and mental health counseling, job training and job search assistance. Offers a Warrior Traditions program, a support group for active and recently separated military combat Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, which is led by combat Veterans.

Vietnam Veterans of California, Inc. (VVC)

Offers community based activities for Veterans and their families. Includes links to Four Service Centers and information on VVC programs including the Veterans Business Outreach Center, transitional housing and other programs that connect Veterans to employment and training, counseling and legal services.

WestCAT Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Paratransit Information
