| Petty Officer 2nd Class Eric Medina carefully mends an American flag in the Canvas Shop aboard the USS George Washington (CVN 73) on June 21, 2004, underway in the Persian Gulf. Medina, from Houston, Texas, is a Navy Boatswain's Mate aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier, which is deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
