Greenfield Water Filtration Plant - 25 Years of Service Award

The National Weather Service (NWS) recently honored the Greenfield Water Filtration Plant, cooperative weather observers, with a 25 year Length of Service Award.

The employees of the plant, have been taking observations from the same location for 25 years. This dedication has earned them the status of Historical Climatology Network, which is a station with over 100 years of records. The station has been in Greenfield since November 1903, and has been at the Water Filtration Plant since 1973. The presentation was delayed due to an error in record keeping at the NWS.
