NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $29,307,221 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-5375 to provide production engineering and technical services to support the Standard missile program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the Contracting Activity.

Advanced Automation Technologies, Inc.*, Exton, Pa.; Ederer Inc.*, Seattle, Wash.; Heco Pacific Manufacturing, Inc.*, Union City, Calif.; and Morris Material Handling, Oak Creek, Wis., are being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery order contract. The maximum contract amount for each offeror is not to exceed $15,000,000 (a 36 month base ordering period and a 24 month extended ordering period) with a guaranteed minimum of $10,000 to each contractor. The total contract amount for all four contractors is not to exceed $60,000,000. Advanced Automation Technologies, Inc., is being awarded the first project in the amount of $534,314 (including the minimum guarantee) for the design, manufacture and installation of a 40/10 ton overhead traveling crane in Building 460 at Puget Sound Navy Shipyard, Bremerton. They will also be removing and disposing of a 15-ton overhead electrical traveling crane that the new crane is to replace. Work will be performed at U.S. Navy activities worldwide, and is expected to be completed by April 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 40 proposals solicited and seven offers received. These contractors may compete for delivery orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple award contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Navy Crane Center, Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N3258A-00-D-6009/6006/6007/6001).

Systems & Electronics, Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $9,187,678 modification to previously awarded contract N00189-95-C-0333 to exercise an option for the full rate production requirements for the High Power Device Test Subsystem (HPDTS) of the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). The HPDTS augments the radio frequency CASS test configuration. This capability is being used by operational test program sets to test high-power weapon-replaceable assemblies and shop-replaceable assemblies. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (80%), and Sanford, Fla. (20%), and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,250,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-99-C-1226 for the design work for the production incorporation of advance mission computers and displays into the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Davis Boat Works, Inc. (DBW), National City, Calif, is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract. This is the third and final contract awarded under NAVSEA solicitation N00024-99 R-8510 (West Coast). The two previous contracts were awarded to Pacific Defense Systems, Inc. (N00024-00-D-8511) and San Pedro Boat Works (N00024-00-D-85 12). The potential combined value of task orders to be issued against the contracts is $73,000,000. DBW will compete for task orders to provide marine boatyard services and industrial support for unmanned boats. Work locations will be determined upon award of individual task orders. Work is expected to be completed by September 2002. The government has the option of extending the contract through 2003 and 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Internet and the Commerce Business Daily, and five proposals were received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-00-D-8510).

AIR FORCE

ARCTEC Services, Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded on April 1, 2000, a $20,696,748 option to a fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for operation, maintenance, and logistics support from April through September 2000 for the Solid State Phased Array Radar System. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 1, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 25, 1999. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, Colo., is the contracting activity (F05604-99-C-9005-P00046).

Boeing Aerospace Operations, Inc., Midwest City, Okla., is being awarded an $11,941,054 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for Phase 1A engineering and manufacturing development of a modernization modification kit in support of the E-4B aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2001. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 22, 1999. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97-C-0211-P00114).

Honeywell, Inc., Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $7,086,170 option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 91 Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) units applicable to the F-16 aircraft, and 91 lots of Recurring Delta Hardware. Expected contract completion date is March 29, 2002. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-2040-P00020).

ARMY

Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $13,440,001 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-98-C-0058, for Lot 3 of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior safety enhancement program for 22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 20, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

MTS Systems Corp., Eden Prairie, Minn., was awarded a $9,900,000 modification to cost-plus-incentive-fee contract DAAD05-99-C-0024 on March 31, 2000, to manufacture and integrate a roadway simulator for automotive testing. Work will be performed in Eden Prairie, Minn., and is expected to be completed by June 16, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on July 8, 1999, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.

Matthews Manufacturing Inc.*, St. Louis, Mo., was awarded $43,881 as part of a $7,000,000 fixed-price (production), indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for 1,000 High Value Asset Security Cage (HVASC) units consisting of a combination of each model type, supply and portable, and the associated spare parts. There is a requirement for a first article test of each model type, to be followed by the production effort. The HVASC will provide security for selected high-value, sensitive, and pilferable items. High value items such as night vision goggles, weapons, hand-held mission systems and components, individual global positioning systems, etc., will be safely secured in these HVASC units. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by March 29, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the electronic bulletin board on Dec 20, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command Acquisition Center-Washington, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (DAAB15-00-D-1004).
