Sacajawea Interpretive Center
Description: The Bureau of Land Management joined with Tribal and community partners to establish this 71-acre park dedicated to the commemoration of Sacajawea, her people the Agaidika, and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The center is a unique outdoor experience for travelers to learn about Idaho culture and history.
The Sacajawea Interpretive Cultural & Education Center provides education and programs that:
- interpret the history of Sacajawea and the significance of her role with the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery
- present the unique historical aspects of the expedition within Lemhi County
- bring greater understanding and enlightenment of the Native American and Sacajawea's people (the Lemhi Shoshone)
Directions: Approximately 1.2 miles southeast of the downtown area of the City of Salmon Idaho on Highway 28 South

- Trails and park are open for visitation all year during daylight hours
- Interpretive Center Open: Memorial Day through September 30 (7 days per week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm); May and October (Weekends only from 9:00 to 5:00 pm)

- Admission Fees: Family: $12 (including parents and children); over 6 Years: $5 per person; Groups and Tours: $4 per person
