The American Red Cross is monitoring the developing situation with this new strain of human swine flu and is in close contact with federal and state officials, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Homeland Security.
As health experts across the world seek to get more information and a better understanding of the scope and severity of the swine flu outbreak, this is a good time for families, businesses and organizations to review and update their preparedness plans. The Red Cross responded to a barn fire Saturday evening around 6:30pm on 1200 south near Romney. We provided rehab to approximately 20 firefighters.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Disaster Recovery Centers will be open Monday - Saturday to serve residents and business owners who sustained losses or damage as a result of the severe storms and flooding March 8 - 14, according to state and federal disaster officials.

Purpose:
Instructor candidates will train to teach water safety, including the basic water rescue course, six levels of the Learn to Swim Program and Parent/Child Aquatics.
Prerequisites:
Must be at least 16 years of age by the last scheduled session of the instructor course. Successfully complete the precourse session.
