Tracking USAID's Effectiveness
In order for USAID to be effective, its results must be measurable.
This pages discusses key Agency monitoring mechanisms, including
evaluation strategies, the 2005 Performance and Accountability
Report, and information quality standards.
This section focuses on USAID’s evaluations capabilities,
including recent reinvigorated efforts in the field.
USAID’s FY 2006 Performance and Accountability Report (PAR)
provides performance results and audited financial statements
that enable Congress, the President, and the public to assess
the performance of the Agency in achieving its mission and stewardship
of its resources.
USAID has published its Information Quality Guidelines, which
outline USAID’s policies and procedures to ensure the quality
of information prepared by USAID and disseminated to the public.
