Make health literacy easy for your patients with AMA's health literacy resources and programs.

Patients stay healthier when they stay informed, which makes communication key to the medical profession.

Be able to talk to patients of all ages and backgrounds about foodborne illnesses,  vaccines, driver safety and other issues—and reinforce your message with handouts, tip cards and other helpful health literacy resources to expand patient education.

Connect with other providers on our free Health Literacy Listserv and share advice about explaining medical concepts and healthier lifestyles.

Whether you need visual aids for the human body or other ways you can promote patient well-being, the AMA can put you in touch with patient education materials and networks you need to help your patients stay and live healthy.
