ARGO DATA
USGODAE Argo GDAC
The USGODAE Argo GDAC is currently operational, serving daily data from
the following national DACs: Australia (CSIRO), Canada (MEDS),
China (2: CSIO and NMDIS), France (Coriolis), India (INCOIS), Japan (JMA),
Korea (2: KMA and Kordi), UK (BODC), and US (AOML).
Data Directories
The Argo data are stored in three different collections:
1) Directory dac/[dac name]/[float name] contains float metadata
and individual daily float profiles
2) Directory latest_data/ contains all daily profiles combined
into one NetCDF Multi-Profile file
3) Directory geo/ contains multi-profile files divided by ocean basin
