Changes in unemployment insurance legislation during 1990

The States generally took little action regarding their
unemployment insurance laws during the year. Some States modified
benefit eligibility requirements for aliens, and a few increased
their maximum weekly benefit amounts. This article summarizes
major changes in State unemployment insurance laws enacted during
1990.
