Fort Vancouver NHS, including the McLoughlin House unit in Oregon City, Oregon, is open to the public and offers a variety of programs and exhibits.

Fort Vancouver: The park is open to visitors 360 days each year. The park is closed each year on January 1, November 25, and December 24, 25, and 31.

The park's operating hours change two times each year when Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins and ends.

In 2006, the park's summer hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and begin on April 2, 2006.

In 2006-7, the park's winter hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and begin on October 29, 2006.

In 2007, the park's summer hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and begin on March 11, 2007.

McLoughlin House: The McLoughlin House and adjacent Barclay House are open for visitation five days a week, Wednesday through Saturday (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.). Tours start at the Barclay House. The houses are closed on major holidays, for nearly two weeks at the end of the calendar year, and during each January.
