In 2004, the DOI EA Repository (DEAR) became the authoritative source for tracking all information systems across the Department and bureaus. In this, it is directed to describe the system inventory using the FEA Reference Models.In 2006, DEAR became the authoritative source for tracking the list of C&A Boundaries and relationships to the system inventory as well as improving the IITD attribute tracking in DEAR.
