Ready to become a Junior Ranger and help the National Park Service preserve and protect parks in the New York City-New Jersey metro area?

Junior Ranger programs are available at many parks and the National Park of New York Harbor are starting to put them online. In honor of 2009 National Junior Ranger Day ( April 25), here are three Junior Ranger Booklets you can print out. You can either bring them with you to work on at the parks, or you can work on them at home and then give them to a Ranger to sign.

Federal Hall National Memorial

General Grant National Memorial

Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace

These are only the beginning of your Junior Ranger experience, though. In the coming months we will be posting the Junior Ranger booklets from more of our 10 National Parks here in the New York City-New Jersey area. So come back and see what new places there are to discover.

Costumed interpretation is one of many special programs offered by the Rangers of the National Parks of New York Harbor
