Welcome to the many outdoor recreation opportunities of your public lands in westcentral New Mexico! The BLM manages 1.5 million acres of public land within Socorro and Catron Counties. You can climb, boulder, cave, hunt, ride your mountain bike, photograph, camp, not to mention scenic and off-road vehicle driving and historical sightseeing, or backpacking in primitive Wilderness Study Areas. Many challenges and good times await you -- all you have to do is get away and see what your public lands have to offer.
