Also felt (III) at Brookings and Grants Pass, Oregon. Felt from southwestern Oregon south as far as the San Francisco Bay area. A tsunami was generated with maximum wave heights (peak-to-trough) of 26.0 cm. at Crescent City, 6.5 cm. at Arena Cove and 5.0 cm. at North Spit, California; 3.5 cm. at Tofino and 2.0 cm. at Bamfield, Vancouver Island, Canada.
