The interpretive staff at North Cascades National Park present a wide variety of programs. During the spring and fall Artist-in-Residence immerse themselves in the Park while sharing their artistry with the public. This year the park service hosts Becky Fletcher during September and October. She will be available at the Visitor Center and will give a special presentation on October 1 at 6:30pm at the Upper Skagit Library and on October 2 at Headquarters in Sedro-Woolley.
A wilderness slide program and video are also available by request at any time in the Visitor Center. Camping, a Skagit Watershed Letterbox Quest and volunteer opportunites are available through mid- October.

Did You Know?
Early exploration of the Puget Sound lead to the naming of many peaks and areas with both Spanish and English names. Diablo Lake and Mount Baker are two examples in the North Cascades.
