This is a government-backed program that helps businesses and individuals protect the environment through the implementation of superior energy efficiency technology and procedures. The ENERGY STAR program works with companies to assist them in planning and implementing ENERGY STAR-qualified products that use less energy, save money, and help protect the environment. Businesses use the ENERGY STAR designation as a marketing tool to help promote the sale and use of their products.
