The Conservation Training Network (CTN) provides distance learning and agency communications support for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Conservation Training Center (NCTC). Broadcast studio and satellite uplink facilities are located on the NCTC campus near Shepherdstown, West Virginia. We provide a full range of training, education, outreach, partnership, and agency communication support via interactive television (iTV) and online resources. Distance learning uses a blend of many technologies to share information with individuals regardless of their location.
Our goal is to provide high quality programs, in support of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service mission, while reducing travel time, costs, and our collective carbon footprint.
