Office of Planning and Coordination
The Compliance Assurance and Enforcement Division's Office of Planning and Coordination is comprised of a variety of activities that have multi-media or cross-program focus, such as Risk Assessment Tools, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and review of Environmental Impact Statements and Assessments, Partnership Programs and Pollution Prevention (including US-Mexico Border activities).Risk Assessment/Geospatial Tools
The comparative risk program staff evaluates many environmental problems as to their impacts upon the human health, ecology, economics, and social-cultural welfare of defined areas.
NEPA
The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) established Federal policy, goals, and procedures for the protection, maintenance and enhancement of the U.S. environment.
Partnership Programs
Partnership programs enable flexible collaborative, market-driven solutions that can deliver measurable environmental results. That's why we work with volunteer businesses, committees, state and local governments, and other organizations.
Pollution Prevention
The Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 identifies an environmental management hierarchy in which pollution should be prevented or reduced at the source.
