The Sequoia Natural History Association is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting education, interpretation, research, and the natural and historic preservation of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Devils Postpile National Monument, Lake Kaweah, and other areas of the National Park System. The Sequoia Natural History Association is committed to enriching the experiences of visitors and promoting public awareness of the significance of national parks through educational programs, publications, and financial support.
 
The Sequoia Parks Foundation is an official non-profit fundraising organization for the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and the Devils Postpile National Monument. It was formed in 1986 and has raised millions of dollars to fund and support projects which enhance the restoration, conservation, and enjoyment of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and Devils Postpile National Monument. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks could have been set aside solely to protect the amazing caves found here. The parks protect half of the caves more than a mile long in California, including the longest cave in the state. They contain Pleistocene-era fossils, rare minerals and unique animals.
