Save the Date: Triple Regional P2 Roundtable
P2RIC Strategy
The Pollution Prevention Regional Information Center (P2RIC) connects organizations that provide waste reduction services and expertise to business and industry. The main goal of P2RIC is to promote the sharing of resources and knowledge among businesses and agencies that use pollution prevention or P2 strategies within Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska (EPA Region 7).
P2RIC is part of the national Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange or P2Rx. P2Rx is funded in part through grants from the EPA and has 8 regional information centers. P2Rx raises awareness and increases effectiveness of pollution prevention strategies by providing timely, accurate and useful information and resources. This effort serves both the region and nation by promoting prevention as the preferred strategy for meeting the sustainability challenge of retaining our current quality of life in a healthy Earth system
