Construction of New Bike Trail to Begin Soon
A portion of the Santiago Creek Bike Trail North project is scheduled to start in early April 2009.  This project will construct a new 10 ft. wide Class I off-road bike trail on the north side of Bond Ave. from Prospect St. to Hewes St.  The project is anticipated to be finished in 75 calendar days, approximately June 30th.

This project will improve the roadway on Shaffer St., Chestnut Ave., Maple Ave., and Fir St.  It includes the removal and replacement of asphalt concrete pavement, removing and reconstructing sidewalk access ramps, damaged sidewalk areas, cross-gutters, damaged curbs and gutters, and re-striping the road.
