Thank You Ceres! Community Center Fund Raiser a Success
The Community Center brick fundraising drive concluded on Friday, January 9__reaching nearly 75% of our goal__with a final tally of $37,000! The City of Ceres and Ceres Community Foundation would like to extend its gratitude to the many residents and businesses who purchased the 216 bricks that will be installed in the courtyard at the Center. All of the funds will be used to help purchase equipment for the new Community Center, set to open this spring.

Water Quality & Safety Information Now on Website
In recent months the City has been examining the water and sewer systems in Ceres to ensure that they continue to be safe for residents. As we finalize the planned improvements to our systems, you will receive updates to keep you informed. You can also stay up to date on this project by visiting Water Quality & Safety Information.
Campus Crime Stoppers is Here!
To help combat crime on school campuses, the Crime Stoppers program has been extended to include a tip program to report crimes that have or will happen on school campuses. Tipsters remain anonymous and can receive cash rewards if their tip stops a crime from happening on or near a school or helps locate someone wanted for a crime. Recycling Poster Available
The City and Ceres Unified School District recently held the 16th Annual Recycling Poster Contest for Kindergarten through 12th grade students __there were 20 winners. One poster was selected to be used to promote recycling for the year __the poster was created by Mark Borges, 4th Grade, Sam Vaughn School. Click here to see a picture of the poster (not full size).
