Back-to-School Safety Refresher Course

Time to study-up for school bus and pedestrian safety. Motorists: drive alert, be prepared to stop for buses and be watchful for children exiting a bus. Parents: demonstrate and teach children how to cross roads safely, and remind them to wait for the bus driver to signal it is safe to cross. Learn more about school bus and pedestrian safety.

End-of-Summer DWI Enforcement Campaign Busts 1,842 Drivers

A statewide DWI enforcement effort, Aug. 17–Sept. 3, resulted in the arrest of 1,842 impaired drivers.

Each year, 30,000 motorists are arrested for DWI in Minnesota. In the last five years in the state, drunk driving crashes have claimed the lives of 651 people. Always plan ahead for a safe and sober ride.
