109th General Meeting- will take place as planned

ASM is closely monitoring information released by the CDC concerning the Swine Influenza A (H1N1) situation in the United States and is constantly assessing the impact it may have on the May 17 - 21 General Meeting of the Society in Philadelphia. Some registrants have indicated they may have to cancel if travel restrictions are issued or if professional responsibilities require them to remain at their workplaces.

At this point we have determined there is not sufficient reason to cancel the Meeting. Any change in this decision will be communicated immediately to registrants and exhibitors, and will be posted prominently on this web page and on the General Meeting website . Until further notice, all registration cancellation policies as previously stated will remain in effect.
