Program Management Activity (PMA) Director (Acting)
Kim Hinton
Kim Hinton is currently the Acting Director of NCPHI’s Program Management Operations Activity. She began her government career twenty four years ago with the Department of Defense in support of Headquarters, Third United States Army automation activities. Kim continued her career in information technology serving as a civilian intern, action officer, and team lead with Forces Command G6, a major Army command headquarters. Before coming to CDC in 2003, she personally managed military and contractor personnel in the operation of complex information technology requirements CONUS-wide (both classified and unclassified) - a support area in excess of 5,000 users.
Since coming to CDC, Kim has served as the Director’s Emergency Operations Center (DEOC) public health informatics program manager, providing supervision, technical leadership, and direction to personnel engaged in a broad range of activities necessary for the accomplishment of the DEOC's mission.
