Description: The first annual Birth Circle Pregnancy Fair is a free one-day event on Mother’s Day weekend, open to the public and held at The Market on State (formerly University Mall) in Athens. This fun family event will consist of hourly educational sessions and booths featuring local pregnancy resources. It’s one-stop shopping for everyone who has or is thinking of having a baby! The booths will offer participants a chance to learn about everything from their choices of care providers, to governmental services, to locally-made baby products, while browsing at their own speed. The educational sessions, led by local experts, will focus on empowering women to make healthy choices for themselves and their babies during pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period.
