SOS Public Kiosk

- The SOS Public Kiosk gives visitors control of SOS through a touchscreen that is installed near the sphere. Sites can customize the datasets and categories that are shown on the kiosk. This software runs on a separate Windows computer.

- Many of the parts of the SOS system can be localized for international locations including the Data Catalog, the Kiosk, the SOS Remote App, and the Visual Playlist Editor. Sites are responsible for doing the translations, though the SOS team can collaborate to distribute translations that are made available for others.

SOS Automated Alignment

- Automated alignment uses video cameras and computer vision techniques to align the SOS projectors onto the sphere without human intervention. Manual alignment is still available and is the default option. Additional cameras and network cabling are required. This function may not operate in conditions with high ambient light.
