NSSL researcher Brooks gets national media attention

Harold Brooks, research meteorologist with the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory, answered tornado related questions for a national publication and a national radio show recently.

The first, featured on Scientific American's Web site area, "Ask the Experts." He answered the question, "What makes Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma so prone to tornadoes?" The full text can be viewed online: http://www.scientificamerican.com/askexpert_directory.cfm

The question will also be included in the print version of the magazine soon.
