The Education Development Team at Steamtown National Historic Site has revised our education programs in order to better connect students to the mission and stories of the National Park Service and our Park, to assist teachers in meeting curriculum requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education standards. All curriculum-based programs require direct teacher and chaperone involvement.

We offer three curriculum-based programs - all other school groups will be scheduled as Field Trips. If your school would like to plan a visit, please contact our Group Reservations office. Thank you.
