A solar/battery powered video camera is used provide a visual record of the runoff and erosion response at Station 1. Video is recorded at 4 frames per second during rain events. Three spotlights illuminate the channel during night-time events. Still images from the camera are transmitted to the internet everyday at noon and approximately every 8 minutes when it is raining. The complete video is downloaded manually from the camera shortly after each storm.
