Jefferson National Expansion Memorial
Nature Zone

As you know, National Parks are full of nature.  Join us in the Nature Zone for a taste of what our natural areas have to offer.

It wouldn’t be a nature zone without animals.  Featured in this area will be a baby bison, a bald eagle, a hawk, a possum, turtles, snakes, and fish.  A plant area with exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on-activities will keep everyone in the family busy.  Other issues discussed in the Nature Zone include weather, climate change and recycling.
