The Investigative Training Unit Internship Program offers students an opportunity to apply their knowledge and experiences to the various missions of the unit. Internship duties will vary in accordance with the needs of the unit and the skills, interests, and abilities of the applicant. Typical internship duties include: researching law enforcement topics for use in new agent training or publication projects; researching published accounts of court cases related to subject matter taught in new agents training; assisting in the preparation of new agent curriculum; updating instructional manuals; and assisting new agent instructors in classroom preparation.
