"As I travel around the state, the number one issue Utahns want to talk about is health care. We are currently facing a health care crisis in this country where a large percentage of Americans do not have access to affordable, quality health care. The current political situation makes this the right time to tackle this pressing and critical issue."

Healthy Americans Act

Senators Wyden and BennettSenator Bob Bennett has joined ranks with Senator Ron Wyden, a Democrat from Oregon, to put forward a plan – The Healthy Americans Act. It has attracted the attention of people and organizations on both sides of the aisle as the best way to address the looming health care crisis.

It's the first major bipartisan healthcare legislation in more than a decade. It guarantees quality, affordable, portable health coverage for every American, cutting health costs by more than $1.48 trillion over the next decade.
