International and national exchange, visits and partnerships between biosphere reserves are valuable learning tools to improve effectiveness of management strategies, reflection and change of approach of stakeholders. This kind of partnership promotes better mutual understanding, decision making, increased awareness, and improved support of management of biosphere reserves.

Several case studies from different countries, continents and biosphere reserves have been gathered in our website as examples of co-operation to follow. They point to the lessons learnt and way forward to economic co-operation, renewable electric energy, student exchange, school partnerships, etc. More
